I wasn't supposed to bake today, but there was something about the weather, and how today became a holiday just made me want to do so. Lately I'm realizing that baking has become my excuse for not doing work, because for a couple of hours, I become so preoccupied with what I'm doing I completely forget everything else.
Today I made what I call Penny Laners. I was very worried about how I made these. I deviated from the recipe that I was following and added more flour and sugar. Risk taker? Nah, not really. haha.
